HUKOU, Taiwan – At this year’s Eurobike one of the big names for batteries presented itself. The multi-billion Simplo Tech Group (SMP), headquartered in Taiwan, debuted at the Friedrichshafen show. This battery maker, which is the main supplier for Apple computers, notebooks, tablets and i-phones, presented itself through one of its subsidiaries; Trend Energy Technology Co. Ltd.

Bosch eBike Systems and Magura Join Forces for Servicing e-Bikes

REUTLINGEN, Germany – Bosch eBike Systems and Magura announce a closer cooperation in service and replacement parts distribution. Bosch eBike Systems is taking a 50 percent stake in Magura Bike Parts, a subsidiary of Magura. The new joint venture will operate under the name Magura Bosch Parts & Services GmbH & Co. KG.

E-Bikes Now Also Turning Spain’s Bike Market Around

MADRID, Spain – It took some more time as in other European countries, but electric bikes are now also making their mark on the bicycle market in Spain. In 2018 this market saw a volume drop of 6.2 percent to 1,047,492 units. However, value-wise sales upped 5.5 percent thanks to, what the country’s industry association AMBE, calls the ‘e-bike effect’.

Market Report Belgium: E-Bikes Keep Growing

ARIV E-Bikes from General Motors Arriving in Europe

One Million E-Bikes Sold in Germany in 2018; Up 36 Percent!

General Motors Launches E-Bikes at Leading European Markets
